The Adaptation Fund has been established by the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to finance concrete adaptation projects and programmes in developing countries that are Parties to the Kyoto Protocol.
In the ninth Adaptation Fund Board meeting from March 23-25, 2010, the Board decided to issue a call for project and programme proposals.

In accordance with the applicable operational policies and guidelines, project proposals are posted on the website of the Adaptation Fund before the Adaptation Fund Board secretariat has conducted the screening and technical review of such project proposals. The website features comments submitted by users. If you want to see the last few proposals and submit comments visit the Adaptation Fund website.
